Artistic residence, understood as a long period of inspiration, dialogue, research and creation in the sports environment, constitutes one of the methods of strengthening the dialogue between art and sport. Here, residence is not understood as providing a place to live and work. It creates a time for on-site research, creation, and work before a custom field is automatically made available.
Associated Artists and Athletes It aims to encourage and support the establishment of artistic residences in the sporting environment to achieve the following objectives:
Two project calls will be launched in 2022 and 2023, respectively, to implement at least 12 residences per call.

For each selected housing project, local governments cannot be held responsible for any additional amount, regardless of the budget actually committed and the costs incurred.
This call for projects is open to cultural organizations that carry out their activities predominantly in Paris or Seine-Saint-Denis, can build and support housing in a sports setting in Paris or Seine-Saint-Denis, and apply with an artist (or an artistic team) . The artist (or art team) has a professional career of at least 5 years and usually resides in the Ile-de-France region – or has regular professional activity.
One residence is reserved for an artist from Overseas Regions (see box at bottom of page).

The selection of projects will be provided by a jury bringing together artistic, cultural and sporting personalities as well as representatives of the City of Paris, Seine-Saint-Denis, Paris 2024 department.
