PS5: 5 games to watch in July 2022

game news PS5: 5 games to watch in July 2022

Let’s be clear, after a particularly busy few months, the PS5 catalog won’t meet its best month in July 2022. However, some releases must be watched, especially thanks to the arrival of a great car simulation as well as real Japanese safe bets. We’re looking right now.

  • F1 22
  • Matchpoint – Tennis Championship
  • KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series
  • Yurukill: Slander Games

F1 22

PS5: 5 games to watch in July 2022

At about the same time, as every year, Codemasters introduces a new version of the iconic Formula 1 series that is obviously taken from the official championship. That’s why F1 22 presents itself as a revival of a series that’s pure and hard-simulated, and for good reason: The game will integrate brand new regulations of the competition and new single seats. In what’s new, we can count on the Career modes (unscripted this time) and the sprint races that were actually tested last year while My Team is making a big comeback. Circuits will also be modified to reflect recent real-life changes, and of course flagship drivers will be on the roster. : In short, if you like car racing, this is probably the most interesting game of the month.

Matchpoint – Tennis Championship

PS5: 5 games to watch in July 2022

If tennis games have always existed and were sometimes popular in the Tenth Art, it’s hard to say the genre has shined in recent years. It’s very sad for us, as some titles have proven to be absolutely excellent in the past: Matchpoint is a newcomer to the game and presents itself as a “modern tennis simulation” with “authentic” gameplay and an “immersive” experience. Frankly, we’ll have to wait to see what the release is scheduled for July 7: in any case, it promises a Career mode where we’ll make our own future tennis star of sixteen pro players. (including Nick Kyrgios, Kei Nishikori and Amanda Anisimova), multiplayer… Potentially a good competitor for Tennis World Tour 2?

MADiSON was supposed to be out for a long time but came back at the last minute. That was the case last January, then June: finally the horror game chose the July 8 window to impose its rather tempting psychological horror. We will embody a miserable misfortune trapped by Madison, an evil spirit half-freed by an occult ritual, in a setting that is as alarming as we would like. A true mix between Layers of Fear and Project Zero – we’ll be using a camera to communicate with the afterlife – this has been plaguing our curiosity for months already. : it should have come out anyway. It seems right this time.

KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series

PS5: 5 games to watch in July 2022

You might have missed it – it has to be said that the saga is getting a bit of an update – but Klonoa was a very good platform game series. Its resuscitation is scheduled for July 8 and will focus on highlighting two anthology games, “Klonoa: Door to Phantomile” and “Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil.”published in 1997 and 2001, respectively. So it appeared on the occasion of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the first of the compilation “Phantasy Reverie Series”, Extensively re-edit both artifacts while maintaining the distinctive color experience of side-scrolling 2D. We will also have an adjustable difficulty level – ideal for those who are just starting out with their driver’s license or want to take it slowly. In short, a trip that should be watched closely and will please even the most nostalgic among us.

Yurukill: Slander Games

PS5: 5 games to watch in July 2022

If you like improbable genre mixes, you’ve come to the right place. Yurukill: The Calumniation Games likes to shoot the epileptic “old-fashioned” and mix the narrative gameplay with a deep story and lots of characters in an excellent Japanese narrative. As the player awakens in Yurukill Land, they get into the skin of a character mistakenly accused of a horrific crime. To regain his freedom, he will have to survive in numerous attractions, a very good opportunity to reconnect with the passage. It should be noted that it was all written by Homura Kawamoto, best known for his manga Kakegurui: It’s a frankly unique experience that we have to follow very closely.
